The AQI Pegasos World waterpark is superb, as is the Blue Flag beach. There are also excellent pools in addition to the waterpark, and a wide avenue leads right down to Blue Flag sands that go on for more than half a mile.

The AQI Pegasos World not only has 6 pools, but its very own waterpark, complete with adrenaline-pumping attractions like Super Bowl and Black Hole. Once you’ve worked up an appetite on the slides, there’s a buffet, a couple of snack places and a trio of à la carte restaurants to pick from, plus 6 bars to keep drinks topped up.

Kids’ pool – The little ones get bags of fun here with the pirate ship and waterslides.

The buffet restaurant has an al fresco section overlooking the pool. There are regular themed nights, carvery stations where roast chicken and lamb are cut to order, and nightly barbecues on the terrace
